Chops in Green Lake

We took my brother and sister-in-law out for her birthday and had a wonderful meal at Chops. I had the Filet Oscar, which was melt in my mouth delicious. The presentation was beautiful. I am so happy to have a restaurant of this caliber with gourmet food so close to home! I read past reviews from 2-3 years ago, and our server was fine, but not like Claire! She’s young, though. I hardly recognized the place from what it was before! We will definitely be back with other people!

The aviance of the place was nice. The Salmon Oscar was delicious. The staff was awesome.

Great ambiance and flavors. Best in Green Lake but room for improvement.

Too expensive, steak had gravy on it and it was dry. 50$ steak, no thank you. We can grill them better at home.

Chops is Awesome! Excellent food, service and atmosphere!

Been here several times for cocktails, appetizers - great selection. Anxious to go for dinner again. First visit a year ago was on a start-up night for them. Contrary to other commentary, prices are right in line with local eateries. Have since returned .. many times. Great food, servers, need bussers for special events i.e. Valentine's Day. Claire, Liz, Connie & all .. thank you.

I recommend this place any chance I get! The salmon is the best I’ve ever had...excellent steak as well.

Can't say enough good things about Chops. The steaks were great, the service fast and friendly and the drinks were nicely priced.

Great steak, fantastic service. The atmosphere makes you think the menu is expensive but quite contrary.

I always love to have dinner at Chops. Very nice atmosphere, excellent food and great service. Everything on the menu is an adventure in taste and flavor. They are so brilliant at pairing foods and seasonings that complement each other. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends! 😊

Food was good, very tasty, food temperature not so good, not hot, more medium warm with food temperature. Service was good.

Food was delicious. Service slower than molasses. 2.5 hours at table....

Found this place driving by and I was very impressed. The best fillet oscar I have had in many years. I would highly recommend.

A fun place for happy hour! Amazing appetizers at half price.

The prices are insane and you get to add an $8 split charge to it. Drinks are good. Bartender was new. We chose not to eat there, just to have some drinks. Most likely won't be back.

This was one of the best meals I’ve eaten! The steak and truffle mashed potatoes were delicious. The service was great and staff friendly. I will definitely be back!

Stopped Saturday night after a performance at the Thrasher. Very short staffed. 1 bartender and only 2 servers for the dining room. Took 45 minutes for a drink. Bartender ignored us and did not know how to pour a tap beer and did not know what a perfect Manhattan was. Never stayed for dinner which we were looking forward to. Should have been better staffed especially when there is a show at Thrasher. Will not return unless service improves.All around very disappointing experience!

Hour in a half to get food. Salmon tasted burnt and overly smoked. Bernaise sauce horrid tasting. Very disappointing.

Very impressed! Delicious from drinks, dinner to desert! We finally found an escape from the typical " bar food"!

The food was good, but the bar service sucked. Extremely slow!! Our waitress Was amazing and very apologetic. The food took 1 1/2 hours to reach our table. It wasn't even busy. Group of 12 Will NOT be back.

Loved everything about this place! Their handcrafted cocktails drinks were superior and my dinner was devine. Had the house special of the day. Highly recommend trying this place out.

First of all sat down order a glass of wine and calamari appetizer. The waitress brings the appetizer and then notices she forgot my glass of wine which I ordered 15 minutes early. She never came back and asked how the food was. The lobster was served with mashed potatoes and no drawn butter. Plus the lobster was slightly mushy I have never had mushy Lobster in my life. Sorry but I was really disappointed especially in the waitress.

Top to bottom amazing. A little pricey but the experience was worth it. I was looking for a quiet darker place to share great conversation and I found it. A place where the candles were not L.E.D. they are real. Chicken was top notch. Liz was a blessing. And would I come back? Absolutely.

Great food and service.

The service was excellent and the food was very well prepared. The seasoning on the prime rib was a little much, but the appetizers and the desserts were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very nice place. I had the Alfredo and had a bottle of wine at the table. Very nice plate presentation and a tiramisu to die for.

This place is great. What a nice new addition to the area. Been coming here for 43 years and it's great to see something different. Small menu. Good atmosphere but could use a bit of a better music hip vibe. Tasty filet, soup, Caesar salad, scallops, apps. Great service even thru the masks they were mandated to wear. Kills Norton's.

Exceptional food quality, excellent service, beautiful ambiance. Definitely a wonderful surprise for the locale.

Very good food

Enjoyed my meal and was with good company. The food was good but not as good as I remember Alfred’s food being. The staff was pleasant enough, and the place seemed clean. For the prices, I was satisfied but not thrilled. I will come again and I hope things will be a notch better.

WOW! Delicious. Decor is striking. Food appears as a work of art to be enjoyed. Can't wait to go again.

Rib eye was perfect. Mashed potatoes we so good, and I don’t like vegetables. The bread they serve after you order was really good. There was no wait and service was prompt.

Food was delicious and staff was very kind. A little on the high end for the price but a good place for a celebration, birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion.

I was BLOWN AWAY! This was the best meal we have had since moving to the area. HIGHLY recommend the lamb chops and the scallops/risotto dish. We will be back to try the dessert!

Service was unbelievably slow, we waited 20 minutes after being seated to get a server to come to the table and ask if we've been helped and when we said no he said "well I guess I'll be your server". My husband's steak was ordered medium but was served barely medium rare. The vegetables were still raw, the risotto was rank and the salmon dish I had was probably the worst thing I've eaten. It was over cooked and everything had this taste of a spice that was on everything which made it "taste" char-grilled. Martini was shook too long and was watery. We were warned to not go here, we should have listened.

Can't say enough about the wonderful dinner we had at Chops! The duck meat ball appetizers and bruschetta were an amazing way to start our evening. Lobster bisque was outstanding. My sisters and I all thoroughly enjoyed our dinners...beautifully prepared and presented. Tiramisu for dessert...no words!! We also had excellent service which made the night even better. We will be going back!

Truly a fantastic experience. Food was beyond belief flavourwise as well as presentation. Had the Chateaubriand and it was to die for. My wife had rhe Salmon Oscar amd it was beyond belief also. Though not terrible, the only thing lacking was the service.
